What is the Fourth Degree?

The fourth degree is the Patriotic degree of the Knights of Columbus.  The fourth degree members participate in ceremonial, Church and Patriotic events.  You join the fourth degree by competing the fourth degree exemplification.  The next exemplification will be held in Richmond on November 8th, and applications are due into the Assembly no later than October 1, so they can be acted upon by the assembly and the required processing can occur between the Assembly and the Virginia Master.

Color Corps Commander needed

The Assembly is seeking a new Color Corps commander.  This is essential to our being able to maintain our ceremonial and honor guard functions.  If you will consider standing up for this critical function please drop me a note by clicking on this link.

Next Fourth Degree Exemplification is 8 November, 2008 in Richmond

Completed form 4s and application fee of $70 per candidate is due no later than the October Assembly Meeting.  Please be sure to use the 2007 version of the form.  Candidates must be present iat 11:00 AM on Saturday.  Please contact the Faithful Navigator if you have any questions.  The information package can be accessed by clicking here.

About Holy Trinity Assembly

Holy Trinity Assembly was founded in 1997 with the assistance of Carrol Frederick and the founding Sir Knights.  The Assembly normally meets on the First Tuesday of each month at the Fr. Widmer Council home behind St. William of York Parish.  Holy Trinity Assembly is composed of fourth degree members from the following Knights of Columbus Councils.

• Fr. Widmer Council 7877, Stafford

• Potomac Council 9259, Triangle

• Fr. Vincent Capodanno Council 11958, Quantico Marine Corps Base
